หลังจากที่ได้รับการยืนยันแล้วว่า All-New Mitsubishi Triton (ออล-นิว ไทรทัน)จะเปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการที่ประเทศไทย ในวันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2023 นี้ ล่าสุดทาง Mitsubishi ได้ปล่อยภายทีเซอร์แรกแบบออฟฟิตเชี่ยลของกระบะรุ่นใหม่โดยเผยให้เห็นทั้งในส่วนภายนอก รวมทั้งภายนอกห้องโดยสาร ก่อนเปิดตัวเผยโฉมจริง 26 กรกฎาคมนี้
สำหรับว่าที่ All-New Mitsubishi Triton ใหม่รุ่นนี้ จะเป็นรถกระบะขนาดกลางเจนเนอเรชั่นที่ 6 ของ มิตซูบิชิ มอเตอร์ส โดยจะได้รับการออกแบบใหม่ ทั้งคันเป็นครั้งแรกในรอบ 9 ปี ตัวรถคงจะมีมาให้เลือกแบบครบไลน์ทั้งตัวถัง Double Cab 4 ประตู และตอนครึ่ง Mega Cab จากนั้น ตัวถัง Single Cab หัวเดี่ยว
โดยทางมิตซูบิชิเผยว่า รถกระบะออล-นิว มิตซูบิชิ ไทรทัน นี้จะมาพร้อมเครื่องยนต์ที่พัฒนาขึ้นใหม่ ให้สมรรถนะการขับขี่ที่ทรงพลังแรงเต็มขั้น แต่ประหยัดน้ำมันยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมด้วยแชสซีส์ใหม่ยกชุดที่จัดเต็มความแข็งแกร่งทนทาน ยกระดับสู่อีกขั้นของการขับขี่ที่นุ่มนวลแต่ทรงพลัง ควบคุมง่ายคล่องตัวสะดวกสบายและปลอดภัยกว่าด้วยเทคโนโลยีสุดล้ำของมิตซูบิชิมอเตอร์ส เหมาะกับทั้งการขับขี่ในเมืองและบนเส้นทางออฟโรด
จากภาพทีเซอร์แบบเงาดำที่เปิดเผยก่อนเปิดตัวออกมานี้จะเห็นถึงตัวถังที่มีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น และรูปลักษณ์ที่ทรงพลัง รูกลักษณ์ ด้านงานดีไซน์คาดว่าคงดึงดีเทลรายละเอียดหรือยกมาจากตัว Mitsubishi XRT Concept (มิตซูบิชิ เอ็กซ์อาร์ที คอนเซ็ปต์) ที่นำมาโชว์ตัวครั้งแรกของโลกในเมืองไทย ที่มาพร้อมดีไซน์ดุดันสะดุดตาตั้งแต่ด้านหน้าจรดท้าย เสริมอารมณ์แกร่งด้วยเส้นนำสายตาจากกระโปรงหน้าสู่ด้านข้างตัวถังในสไตล์แนวราบ พร้อมการตกแต่งเหนือซุ้มล้อหน้า-หลัง
ที่ด้านหน้าจะเป็นชุดไฟหน้าแบบแยกส่วนมาพร้อมชุดไฟ DRL ที่วางเรียงต่อกันสามดวงที่ด้านบน ส่วนไฟส่องสว่างจะเป็นไฟ LED ที่วางเป็นกลุ่ม สามดวงเช่นกัน ขณะที่กระจังหน้าออกแบบให้มีขนาดใหญ่มาพร้อมโลโก้ Mitsubishi ตรงกลาง และชื่อแบรนด์ M I T S U B I S H I ที่ด้านบน ซุ้มล้อมาในทรงเหลี่ยมดูบึกบึน เสริมมาคลุครถสายลุยด้วยราวหลังคา และโรลบาร์กระบะท้าย ส่วนชุดไฟท้าย LED ออกแบบให้เป็นรูปตัว L วางซ้อนต่อกัน
ภายในห้องโดยสารมีขนาดกว้างขวาง ตกแต่งด้วยวัสดุคุณภาพสูง พร้อมอุปกรณ์อำนวยความสะดวกมากมาย และยังมีพื้นที่สัมภาระท้ายที่กว้างขึ้น เพื่อตอบโจทย์การใช้งานตามไลฟ์สไตล์ทุกรูปแบบและการบรรทุกเชิงพาณิช
โดยในส่วนแผงแดชบอรฺ์ดติดตั้งหน้าจออินโฟเทนเมนท์แบบสัมผัส ที่วางแบบลอยตัว มาปุ่มแบบหมุนสำหรับเลือกโหมดขับเคลื่อน รวมถึงปุ่มควบคุมระบบต่าง ๆ ภายในห้องโดยสารที่ออกแบบการาวให้เหมือนกับแป้นเปียโน
ในด้านพละกำลังขับเคลื่อนยังไม่เปิดเผยรายละเอียดด้านระบบส่งกำลัง แต่มีข่าวว่าจะได้รับการติดตั้งขุมพลังเครื่องยนต์ดีเซลเทอร์โบ 2.4 ลิตร (4N16) จาก Nissan ซึ่งใช้เทคโนโลยีวาล์วแปรผัน MIVEC ให้กำลังสูงสุด 178 แรงม้า แรงบิดสูงสุด 430 นิวตันเมตร จับคู่เกียร์อัตโนมัติ 7 สปีด และระบบขับเคลื่อน 4 ล้อ 4WD และในอนาคตจะตามมาด้วยรุ่นเครื่องไฮบริด และขับเคลื่อนด้วยไฟฟ้า 100%
